:-(

I am just thinking of the times I went into depression. As far I remember, there were two times.. both times I took more than a month to get out of it.

  1. Feb 2005 - Just went into depression. Was wondering what I would do after college. Got lost .. completely lost. After frequent temple visits and a cheerful bunch of friends, got over it.
  2. April - May 2008 - This was a very tough time for me too. I just could'nt get a grip of my life. All friends seemed distant. I was alone. Walked alone, traveled alone, shopped alone, ate alone. Had Nitesh .. but he was of no use (coz he didnt even realize the depression that was hitting me). It was terrible. Focussed on different things - Gym.. songs.. movies.. finding other lucrative job opportunities. Finally got out of it !!

The rest of u can share ur phases of depression too .. Relive the misery.

Thumbs down for 'The day the earth stood still'

I really really really think I should've read the review before I booked the damn tickets! It was a CRAP MAX movie! Unless Nitesh thinks otherwise, I didnt like it at all. Keanu Reeves has tried to carry forward a part of his character as Neo in the Matrix. He has tried the one liners filled with power and authority, the solemn face and the mostly unemotionless expression which actually spoke a lot in the Matrix but nothing in this movie.

The movie lacks substance and the giant robot thingy seems like its out of a cartoon. The only part of the graphics that seemed appealing was the alien orb. It looked ultra cool!

My recommendation to Anand & Bin - Dont watch unless you have plans of making out ;-)

P.S - I have become a big time movie critic. Dunno if thats a good thing *Sigh*

Movie time!

Me and Nitesh are going for the movie 'The day the earth stood still'. Only after booking the tickets did I realize that I should've read the reviews first.. Its a crap max movie apparently :-(

I dont really wanna go for it.. but what about my precious 250 bux? In this time of economic recession, even 10 rupees seems like prize money! Sigh.. so we are going.. will put down the review soon.. Sighhhhhhhhhhhh.

Places where James Bond made love

I came across this, and it seemed funny that someone took time to keep count of it :)

In the movies, Bond is told 35 times that he will die. He doesn't, of course. What he does, however, is make love 81 times: in a hotel room (20 times), London flat (2), at her place (15), someone else's place (2), on a train (3), in a barn (2), in a forest (2), in a gypsy tent (2), hospital (3), in a plane (2), in a submarine (1), in a car (1), on a motorised iceberg (1), in, around, under, or by water (25 times). Of the 62 Bond girls, 31 were brunettes, 25 blondes, and 4 redheads. Women moaned "Oh, James!" 16 times.

PS: The last count is rather intruging.

Time to change!!

I always had a life with no regrets. Whatever i did I always had a reason to convince myself that it was not wrong, but things have made me rethink now. I regret lots of things. Need not mention everything, but as Khalid says " It's never a wrong time to do a right thing". I think I need to change, I'm working on it.

I promised something last night and broke it in the morning itself. I just need to figure out myself.
Is it better
a) to change and be a different person
b) to remain the same and continue with the comments that end up hurting people?

Nitesh

I am watching (judging) you..

I have a few very close friends and a lot of 'just' friends. I dont let people get very close to me.. Its the fear of being judged. I would rather keep them at bay and draw the lines of interaction that get close and let them bitch behind my back.

Me and Bin have this perennial problem. We are forever being judged and the verdict is almost the same everytime - Too much attitude, slutty, arrogant. Very honestly speaking, this is far from the truth. We are pretty amicable people. Cant go proving to everyone .. but it doesnt feel good to be known as such people.. Everyone wants to be loved right, what makes us any different?

Today, Nitesh made a very loose comment about my character. He probably didnt mean it.. but it made me think. Am I really that kind of a person? and didnt realize it.. What if I am what people accuse me of? What if I have given them enough reasons to believe I am that kind of a person? But, I really am not that person. I really am not. I guess the only other person who knows it is Bin.. coz she is pretty much the only other person who is treading on the same roads that I am walking on.

Bin.. we are comrades.. on the same sinking boat.. as always!

Bored!

Working on a saturday is torture.. in an entirely different level. People ping me on gtalk and ask me, 'you are at work?? On a saturday?' and then either they are making that sympathetic face or the 'nyanananana I am partying while u suffer' face. Well.. both suck!

Here I am with access to any website.. no websense or any shit.. but cant figure out what to do! I am bored! As hell! Help! :-(

You have already made your choice.. now u have to understand it.

Those are the words of the Oracle to Neo. I guess that is how life works.

We all do things for which we fully dont understand the consequences. And sometimes we spend our entire lives trying to understand why we did it.

I am thinking of the number of people who decided they will give up a girl/guy for some reason and instead settled with an alternate choice.. But waste their entire lives wondering if life would've been much more colorful if the person they gave up was with them now. And, some who boldy go against the world to marry who they think is right and regret their entire lives for making such a choice.

Maybe that's why I am trying to hard to understand my choice. A choice to give Nitesh a second chance. I have'nt fully understood the choice. I didnt know it would be so hard to trust someone who you have trusted with your life earlier. I didnt know the consequences of this choice on my life. I am brimming with suspicion. I was never like this. I dont want to be. But I am. I guess second chances are even harder to give than a first chance. Thats because in the first chance, you dont expect much, there's nothing much to lose. But in the second chance.. you have everything to lose. Damn! I can imagine how a third chance would be..

I have made my decision.. Now i have to understand its consequences and the reason why I am doing this.. I guess the answer is 'LOVE'. It sure makes me go crazy ... But by the end of all this, am sure it will be worth the trouble :-)

Another blog

If I take a count of the number of blogs I have had, its 5.
Out of which 3 have been deleted, one has been discontinued out of lack of attachment to that virtual piece of my life, one is alive.. but it is being watched by predators who are just waiting to pounce on me for any little senseless bit that I tend to write.

Frankly, I am not sure if I can sustain this blog .. But I will try my best. This blog is from another google account, away from the watchful eyes of some unscrupulous elements. I hope this is safe, and my blog will again be my confidante and my canvas for exaggerated bullshit.

With that vivid introduction, I move to give a gist of episodes from life. Right now, life aint looking too good.
  1. My boyfriend cheated on me and realized his mistake and I am on this see saw which cannot land on any side.

  2. The cold war at home, thanks to my brother and his ever so beautiful wife is intensifying to an extent where invisible walls have been raised overnight.

  3. I have nowhere to look for comfort and the only person I trust completely is on the scanner .. being intricately scrutinized if he is capable of being trusted again (If in doubt read point #1 again.. I refer to the same person)

  4. Except for my career, I have no clue where my life is heading. Feels like I have ventured into the forest where Blair-witch project was filmed.

  5. I am at a point where I believe I am incapable of making prudent decisions. Quite obviously, that is not a nice place to be in.

Right now, I can only look at 'him' and pray that I have made the right choice by giving him a second chance and drown my sorrows in his company. I am quite sure that I am not the one with the largest bundle of grief on my shoulders.. But it feels pretty heavy.

Hope.. keeps me human.
